Hamilton Family Theatre Cambridge Announces 2026 Season

October 8, 2025

Drayton Entertainment's Artistic Director David Connolly today announced the 2026 Season for the Hamilton Family Theatre Cambridge

“Our 2026 Season spans genres, emotions, and generations but at its core, it's about what unites us: the need to laugh, to feel, to dream, and to share the experience together,” says Connolly. “We can’t wait to welcome you into this vibrant collection of unforgettable stories... where hope inspires change, courage strengthens connection, and shared experiences celebrate the joy, resilience, and humanity that bind us together.”

The 2026 Season in Cambridge opens with Finding Neverland, the heartwarming story of how Peter became Pan. Based on the Academy Award-winning film, this soaring musical follows J.M. Barrie’s friendship with a widow and her four spirited sons, who inspire the magical world of Neverland. This gloriously sweet and wondrous telling of the beginnings of Neverland is on stage April 15 to May 3.

Next up, 42nd Street dazzles with breathtaking tap routines, backstage intrigue, and timeless tunes like “Lullaby of Broadway,” “We’re in the Money,” and "Shuffle Off To Buffalo." This beloved showbiz fairy tale is a glittering celebration of song and dance. Don’t miss it, July 2 to July 19.

Nashville Music City turns up the volume with a feel-good tribute to the evolution of country music, featuring hits from Dolly Parton and Johnny Cash to Shania Twain and Taylor Swift. Watch these incredibly talented musicians go wild, August 13 to August 30.

Then, all aboard for Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express. When a murder occurs aboard the famous train, Detective Hercule Poirot must unravel a web of secrets in this gripping whodunit. This suspenseful tale of deception, revenge and justice is on stage October 14 to November 1.

Finally, a mystery holiday musical will close the season. “We’ve been trying to secure the rights for years, and audiences will be thrilled once it’s revealed,” says Artistic Director David Connolly. This special holiday production will be officially announced later this year, and will run November 18 to December 27.
