Drayton Entertainment operates seven theatres across the province of Ontario on various traditional territories. While many nations and peoples (acknowledged and unacknowledged, recorded and unrecorded) have lived on this land, we recognize its longstanding stewards:
Drayton Festival Theatre is located on the traditional territory of the Tionontati, the Anishinabek and the Odawa people.
Hamilton Family Theatre Cambridge is located on the traditional territory of the Anishinabek, Attiwonderonk (Neutral), and the Haudenosaunee people.
Huron Country Playhouse is located on the traditional territory of the Anishinabek and the Attiwonderonk (Neutral) people.
King’s Wharf Theatre is located on the traditional territory of the Anishinabek, the Huron-Wendat, and the Haudenosaunee people.
St. Jacobs Country Playhouse is located on the traditional territory of the Anishinabek, Attiwonderonk (Neutral), and the Haudenosaunee people.
St. Jacobs Schoolhouse Theatre is located on the traditional territory of the Anishinabek, and the Attiwonderonk (Neutral) people.
This land is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties and is within the “Dish With One Spoon” wampum agreement.
