Peter Pan: The Panto

A Traditional British Panto

November 8 to November 25, 2023

By Caroline Smith

In the grand British tradition where audiences cheer the hero and boo the villain, Peter Pan boasts a winning combination of incredible musical numbers, slapstick comedy, outrageous costumes, audience participation, and of course, a dash of theatrical magic.

So bring your children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and join us for the holiday season as the beloved tale about the boy who never grew up becomes awash in swash and buckle. Float through the clouds to Never Land and be reunited with all your favourite characters. You’ll be hooked!

Audience Recommendation: Recommended for ages 5 and up. There is no official rating system for live theatre. We encourage you to use your judgment based on your child's age and maturity level.

Please Note: Golf Cart shuttle transportation from the parking lot to theatre is only available weather permitting.

Running Time: 2 hours and 20 minutes including a 20 minute intermission.

Wonderful show. Loved it and the grandkids thought it was fantastic

excellent show as usual. This is the third Panto that I have seen at the Wharf Theater in Penetanguishene. These shows are always entertaining. Looking forward to 2024's production.

Peter Pan the Panto was just spectacular, so funny and perfect for all the members of our party from my 10 year old Granddaughter to my soon to be 60 year old hubby. A great cast with so much stand out talent! Justin Bott really has amazing comedic timing, a great singing voice and exudes a warmth that really makes the audience feel like they are in on all the jokes he delivers impeccably. Fae Lewis is amazing as Michael Darling, so professional and her voice is angelic. We can't recommend seeing this production enough, kudos to the Creative team and the Band!

We LOVED IT!!!! I have never been to a Panto before and now I'm kicking myself for not going to one sooner!!! What an absolutely enjoyable evening. Non-stop laughter, clapping, booing at the villain and dancing along to current musical numbers!

AMAZING!!! The singing; the dancing; the set design; the costumes; the jokes. My entire family loved it; my 8 year old was on the edge of his seat the entire time. I would watch it a second time. The venue was amazing and so well organized- you could pre order items for intermission.

Wonderful show. I took my grand daughter to her first live stage show. She loved it from the very first. To watch her excitement was a pure joy. She joined in all the music, dancing, boos for Captain Hook and warm hellos for Peter Pan. Drayton you never disappoint! An awesome show. Give yourselves a big high five. Job well done!!
Once again great entertainment for young and old. Kudos to the Darling children for a job very well done. Best of all, thank you Justin Bott for your magical performance of Nelly Copperbottom.

Peter Pan was amazing! My 8 and 9 year old kids were very engaged and loved the jokes, participation, singing and dancing. As an adult I loved it just as much as they did. I have already recommended it to all my friends. Great job everyone!
