Based on the acclaimed novel by Stephen King, Misery is a relentless spine-tingling thriller that moves faster than the snow piling up in a Colorado blizzard.
Successful romance novelist Paul Sheldon is rescued from a wintry car crash by his ‘Number One Fan’ Annie Wilkes, a seemingly kind nurse. While he convalesces in her secluded home, events take a nightmarish turn after Annie reads his latest book and discovers the author killed off her favourite character. Annie forces Paul to write a new Misery novel, and he quickly realizes that she has no intention of letting him leave. The irate and unhinged Annie has Paul writing as if his life depends on it … because it does.
A wonderfully dark and caustic examination of celebrity, creativity, and the impact that fictional characters can have on real people, Misery is a nail-biting game of cat-and-mouse that will have you at the edge of your seat right up until its inherently suspenseful and indelibly memorable ending.

Acting was superb. Music and sound was sinisterly wonderful. Sets were cool and creative. The story, as per Stephen King, was creepy and thought provoking. Absolutely wonderful play!
