Jersey Boys Opens the 2024 Season at the Hamilton Family Theatre Cambridge

Cambridge, ON - The Hamilton Family Theatre Cambridge’s 2024 Season is officially underway as the international phenomenon Jersey Boys takes to the stage. The blockbuster musical tells the rags-to-riches story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. Patrons are encouraged to book their tickets now as the run is over 90% sold out already.

Drayton Entertainment’s Artistic Director Alex Mustakas says that audiences “will fall head over heels for the captivating story, the timeless melodies, and the sheer energy that pulses through every scene. This show is a celebration of music, friendship, and the indomitable spirit of rock ‘n’ roll. Trust me, you won’t just watch it—you’ll feel it!”

How did four guys from the streets of New Jersey get to the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame? Have we got a story for you! Jersey Boys is the international musical phenomenon that takes you behind the scenes – and behind the music – of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. Discover the secret of a 40-year friendship as four blue-collar guys work their way from the wrong side of the tracks to the heights of stardom, thrilling audiences with electrifying performances of chart-topping hits including “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Oh What a Night,” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You.”

Drayton Entertainment is one of Canada’s largest and most successful not-for-profit arts organizations. The company operates seven venues across the province: the original Drayton Festival Theatre in Drayton, Huron Country Playhouse and Playhouse II in Grand Bend, King's Wharf Theatre in Penetanguishene, Hildebrand Schoolhouse Theatre St Jacobs in St. Jacobs, St. Jacobs Country Playhouse in Waterloo, and Hamilton Family Theatre Cambridge (formerly Dunfield Theatre Cambridge) in Cambridge. In 2023, it opened the Drayton Entertainment Youth Academy in Waterloo - a fully dedicated building for arts-based education.

The 2024 Season includes Jersey Boys, Steel Magnolias, Priscilla, Queen of the Desert the Musical, A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, and Irving Berlin’s White Christmas.
