Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

The Irresistible Musical Parable

August 10 to September 3, 2023

Lyrics by Tim Rice
Music by Andrew Lloyd Webber

By turns dazzling, explosive, and electrifying, Joseph is truly a technicolor triumph!

Journey back to the ancient land of Canaan for an enchanting story of faith and forgiveness as the biblical tale of Joseph is chronicled with sparkling wit, irreverence, and imagination.  When Joseph’s father gives him a fabulous coat of many colors, his 11 jealous brothers hatch a devious scheme to sell him into slavery.  But Joseph rises above his bleak circumstances due to his ability to interpret dreams, and becomes one of the most powerful men in Egypt.

Don’t miss this rollicking musical masterpiece packed with incredible dance numbers, plenty of laughter, and catchy tunes like “Go, Go, Go Joseph,” “Any Dream Will Do,” and “Close Every Door.”

Audience Recommendation: Recommended for ages 10 and up. There is no official rating system for live theatre. We encourage you to use your judgment based on your child's age and maturity level.

Stunning performance! Loved every second!
Laura P, Ontario
Very pleasant surprise!!!! They did a masterful job of translating an ancient story into such an entertaining stage production. Clever narration (via song) allowed the audience to follow along easily, even if they were not aware of the original story itself. Talented singers & dancers performing well rehearsed choreography, integrated with occasional phenomenal gymnastic moves made for an all around package of great entertainment. Bravo!!!
Earl B, Midland

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat directed by Max Reimer at kings Warf Theatre was spectacular! I loved the show and so did the entire audience. It was well acted and well directed. The music was catchy and had you singing, very fast paced and so enjoyable. Joseph( Ben Page) and Kristen Peace, the narrator were stunning. The rest of the cast were incredible. Very talented. The childrens choir was amazing and so were the costumes. The added comedy made the show so funny. We are so lucky to experience this talent!

We brought 20 people from two church congregations on Aug. 12th. And 20 people came away humming & singing & generally elated by the energy, the spectacular dancing & costumes & feeling of joy that jumps off the stage! We laughed, we cried, we'll be talking about this for months! [or at least until our next Drayton excursion!]
Jane S, Port Carling

We were blown away with this production! From the visuals of set/costumes to the exuberance of the dancers and the AMAZING singing we all agreed it was the BEST interpretation of the play we had ever seen. Standouts are the Narrator, Potifer, Canaan Days, Calypso song and of course Pharoah! I recommend this to anyone who has previously seen this play...go to King's Warf....it will blow your mind!!!!
