Drayton Entertainment Duty of Care

As you plan your trips to the theatre, know that our number one priority is ensuring that you feel safe, comfortable, and confident with your decision to enjoy live theatre again. Our Duty of Care adheres to local and provincial health guidelines and is subject to change in response to current conditions throughout the season. We have been awarded the World Travel and Tourism Council/Tourism Industry Association of Ontario Safe Travels stamp for adopting proper, standardized health and hygiene protocols. This stamp is globally recognized as an indicator that enhanced COVID mitigation protocols are in place.

2022 Season Worry-Free Guarantee

Book your tickets knowing that flexible options are available if needed, for whatever reason. If your performance is cancelled or you are required to stay home due to COVID-19 symptoms, you may opt for a flexible ticket exchange, credit on your Drayton Entertainment ticketing account (which never expires), or a full refund.

The Government of Ontario has lifted restrictions for theatres, allowing for 100% capacity. However, we have surveyed our patrons a number of times over the last two years, and you've made it clear to us that you have different degrees of comfort.

We want the return to live theatre to be as easy as possible for everyone. With that in mind, we have created show schedules with varying capacities and protocols that gradually change as the season progresses. Please choose the performance option that suits your needs best.
There are three performance options from May through August:

  • 100% capacity with no proof of vaccination required
  • Limited capacity (33% reduced) with no proof of vaccination required
  • Limited capacity (33% reduced) with proof of vaccination required

There are two performance options from September through December:

  • 100% capacity with no proof of vaccination required
  • Limited capacity (33% reduced) with no proof of vaccination required

For contact tracing purposes, the ticket purchaser will be considered the primary contact for any guests and will be expected to have contact information for each member of their party.

Please make sure we have your correct and up-to-date email address on file. You will receive a confirmation email immediately upon booking your tickets.

You will receive a reminder email with the show program, parking information, and more 36 hours prior to your performance.


Arrive early! The auditorium will open for seating 30 minutes prior to the start of the performance.

COVID Screening

Patrons exhibiting any symptoms should not enter the facility, but call the Drayton Entertainment Box Office at 1-855-drayton (372-9866) to discuss available options through our 2022 Season Worry-Free Guarantee.

Ticket Scanning

You can choose print-at-home tickets or bring your e-tickets on your mobile device on the day of the performance. Mailed tickets are also available.


We encourage everyone to continue wearing masks.

Lounge Services

At all of our venues, you can bring beverages, ice cream, and other treats purchased in our lounge to enjoy in the comfort of your theatre seat during the show! That means you don't need to feel rushed before the show or during intermission to consume your refreshing beverage or tasty treat. So go ahead and indulge … we just ask that you help us keep the theatre looking beautiful by disposing of your litter as you exit. Also, in consideration of other patrons, please refrain from opening candy wrappers during the performance.

Coat Check

Our coat check will be closed at all facilities.

Assistive Listening

Assistive listening devices will be cleaned with minimum 70% isopropyl alcohol between uses.


To minimize congestion in the lobby, we ask that you take your seat inside the theatre upon arrival. Ushers will be available to walk to you your seat.


Enhanced cleaning measures have been put into place before, during and after each performance including increased cleaning of high-touch surfaces. The use of electrostatic sprayers allow for an even coat on various surfaces, ensuring a more thorough disinfection. Common contact surfaces and washrooms are regularly sanitized by our on-site cleaning team.

HVAC/Air Flow/Ventilation

Our theatres are equipped with mechanical ventilation systems that exchange the air in our public spaces every 15 minutes. We equip our HVAC systems with high quality filters to capture particles and clean the air. Our units are operating 24/7 to ensure fresh filtered air is in all public spaces at all times.
Theatre traffic flow will be managed through designated entrances and exits. In the event of an emergency, the audience will be able to leave through all doors.

Directional Signage

Single direction foot traffic will be in place in high traffic areas, such as washrooms and lounge ordering, where possible.

Sanitation Stations

We ask that you use the hand sanitizer provided as you enter the theatre. Sanitizer can also be found at designated points throughout the venue.

Plexiglas Barriers

Barriers have been installed at our bars where physical distancing is more difficult to maintain, as well as our Box Office.

High-Touch Surfaces

Before, during, and after each performance cleaning/disinfecting of high-touch surfaces in lobbies, washrooms, handrails, doorknobs, seat arms, will be taking place.

House Programs

Performance programs will be available in digital format only and issued to ticket purchasers by email prior to the performance. They will also be made available online on the show page. This is part of our effort to reduce our carbon footprint, as paper production, distribution, use and disposal requires considerable energy and raw materials.
