She was also directed by George F. Walker in his play The Ravine (LTP). Karen spent 8 seasons at the Stratford Festival and 10 seasons at the Shaw Festival and was dramatic coach for the Centre for Opera Studies in Italy.

Her upcoming film Women Talking directed by Sarah Polley will premiere at Telluride and TIFF in fall 2022. Born in Toronto, Sheila began her career as a professional dancer when she was 16. She has spent four decades since then acting in every major theatre in Canada.
