Throughout the year hundreds of volunteers play a leading role in the success of Drayton Entertainment by contributing their time, talent and enthusiasm to Ontario’s Theatre District. Our volunteers participate on the Board of Directors, as Adult and Youth Ushers at each venue, and as dedicated members of the Friends of the Drayton Festival Theatre and the Huron Country Playhouse Ladies Guild. Drayton Entertainment gratefully acknowledges the contribution and commitment of our extended family of volunteers.

How to Become a Volunteer...

Drayton Entertainment is always looking for friendly, out-going and reliable volunteers to help out in a variety of ways. Our volunteers provide another level of customer service by supporting our staff at special events, fundraisers and opening nights. They welcome our patrons as greeters, help you find your seat in the theatre, provide backstage tours and take pleasure in assisting with gardening and beautification projects. Opportunities are available for participants of all ages! To find out more about how to become a Drayton Entertainment volunteer, please contact the facility manager for your theatre listed below.

Rooms for Rent?

Drayton Entertainment needs your help to house the many performers, musicians, directors, stage managers and production crew who will be working at each of our six theatres during the season. This is a great opportunity to earn some extra money if you have an empty room in your home, as well as make lasting friendships. The average rate is $70.00 per week, however certain amenities must be included, such as access to cooking and washroom facilities. If your home is within driving or, walking distance of your theatre, please contact the appropriate facility manager listed below.
